Destiny aka Halo-Craft, is an amazing blend of two genres, FPS and MMORPG, and I had my doubts that it would work, but dam, it is cool!  I get to shoot the shit out of enemies, and level up…. Two of my favourite pastimes combined!  I pre-ordered the game day one based on the hype, but never expected me to get excited about it.  But the beta was hard to put down.  Gunplay is very Halo (actually the whole action is very Halo), and that is not a bad thing.  The whole package though is just beautiful, form the loading screen to how to the clean yet extremely functional interface.  I was pleasantly surprised at the whole beta experience, I did not receive a single drop-out/glitch/crash in my whole play through.  But best of all the action was intense, satisfying and just plain fun!
